"Braces In Space" Kids Go to Wallops Island
WHAT: The students from Fort Smallwood Elementary School in Anne Arundel County who built the "Braces In Space" experiment with the help of the University of Maryland Dental School will pack their experiment for the space shuttle.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 - 10 am - Noon

INFO: The students have prepared an experiment to test the rubber bands used for braces on STS-105 to be launched June 21. The experiment is one of five that will be packed in canisters that ride in the cargo bay. The students will leave from their school around 6 am.
