CENTER FOR MILLENNIAL STUDIES TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE

(Boston, Mass.) -- Boston University's Center for Millennial Studies (CMS) will host their fourth annual conference, "NEW WORLD ORDERS: Millennialism in the Western Hemisphere," Saturday, November 6 through Tuesday, November 9.

"This is an opportunity for top millennial researchers in the world to come together and share groundbreaking developments," says Richard Landes, cofounder of the Center for Millennial Studies "We are preparing for a dramatic time of intense millennial activity."

This year more than 60 scholars from five continents a variety of universities and institutions will present papers at the conference. The CMS's largest international conference thus far, NEW WORLD ORDERS provides an opportunity to hear from leading authorities and authors on the subject of millennialism in the nation. More than 50 papers will cover a wide variety of topics including: arts & pop culture, identity/gender, African-American issues, technology, education and history.

Attendees include scholars, interested academics and member of the general public.

The Center for Millennial Studies, a not-for-profit research center based at Boston University with branches around the globe, is the world's largest academic research center dedicated to millennial studies.
