Race in America: Katya Gibel Mevorach, associate professor of anthropology at Grinnell College, conducts research on race, racism, American culture, and class and ethnicity.
Kesho Scott, associate professor of American studies and sociology at Grinnell College, teaches courses in American cultural values, social movements, racial inequality and oppression, race and ethnicity.
Poverty and socioeconomic disparities: Monty Roper, associate professor of anthropology, conducts research and teaches courses dealing with issues of poverty and socioeconomic disparities on a global level, as well as sustainable development.
