Fay reminisces about the years of single-gender dormitories. Fay met Ron at a freshman orientation mixer at Donlon Hall, then a men’s residence hall. “He asked me to dance, stepped on my foot a couple times, then suggested we talk instead of dance,” recalled Fay. “We sat on the steps talking until curfew. That was it – love at first sight! We've been married 44 years!”

Heather met Bryan while canoeing on a Cornell wilderness reflections trip in August 1995. “Upon returning to campus, Bryan asked me out for our first date – ice cream at Oliver's in Collegetown. We dated all through college and married in June of 2000. Ten years and three children later, we still love to come back to campus for reunions,” she writes.

Christa – who had never seen deer – met Nate. Nate was a Vermont native, while Christa was a city girl. They both went on a walk to see some deer. “Lucky for him we spotted some on the golf course near North Campus,” she says. “And that is where it all began. We have been married 7 ½ years and have a 2 ½-year-old son who only cheers ‘Go Cornell!’ no matter what sporting event he is watching.”
