AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DERMATOLOGY HOLDS ACADEMY 2000 MEETING

SCHAUMBURG, IL (July 24, 2000) -- The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) will hold its Academy 2000 summer scientific meeting in Nashville, August 2 - 6, at the Opryland Hotel. Anticipated attendance is more than 1,500.

Nearly 200 speakers will contribute to presentations on the latest research in the medical and surgical treatment of skin, hair, and nail conditions. In addition, media briefings will be presented on cosmetic surgery and women's health. A box lunch will be served at each briefing, and media interested in attending are asked to sign up for the briefings they will attend when they pick up their registration materials on site at the Press Room (Belle Meade A).
