Additionally, on Jan. 29, four pre-conferences will be presented on: The Basics of Practice Management; Building Effective Leaders; LEAN Management in Health Care; and Developing a Value Proposition.

WHO: Dozens of world-renowned speakers, physician anesthesiologists and industry professionals representing every facet of the specialty, including featured keynote speaker Ed Park, M.B.A., executive vice president and COO of Athenahealth, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing new payment models and outline critical strategies for aligning physician anesthesiologists and health systems.

The ASA is also partnering with the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) to host a special program on pain medicine, designed to help attendees identify the critical skills needed for chronic pain services or facilities to run cost effectively, while providing high-quality care that is compliant with current regulations.
