The American Society of Hypertension's 21st Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in New York City, Tuesday, May 16th through Saturday, May 20th at the New York Hilton Hotel, 1335 Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue between 53rd & 54th Streets). This year's program will feature a wide range of topics including the classification of hypertension phenotypes, hypertension in ethnic populations and new diagnostic procedures and treatment strategies for hypertension. The Meeting also will have sessions on the latest research data and findings of pertinent clinical trials and studies that will impact the treatment of hypertension and vascular health.

This year's media program will include a Late Breaker Press Conference (new findings of large clinical trials) and Press Briefings on several significant studies (abstracts).

Please note, photography is limited during the sessions and presentations, however, media are free to photograph during the press conferences. If you are interested in photographing during the sessions, you will need to notify the press personnel of ASH in advance for permission. There will be no videotaping or filming during the scientific and poster sessions, presentations, and in the exhibit hall. Camera crews, however, will be allowed to tape or film in the press room, during press conferences, and in locales designated by the PR Manager. Please call for further information.
