Brown, vice chairman of BJC Health System in St. Louis, and Chairman of the American Hospital Association, has been named Chairman of the National Professional Advisory Board for AmericasDoctor.com, the nation's only Internet-based, 24-hour/7 days a week, real-time physician chat, health information and resource system.

Brown brings more than 35 years of expertise in health care administration and management to his voluntary role with AmericasDoctor.com. He served as principle architect and founding President and CEO of the BJC Health System in St. Louis, overseeing the merger of five health care organizations and the development of a comprehensive network including 200 care sites and 28,000 caregivers and physicians. Currently, Brown serves on the Board of Directors of Commerce Bancshares, Inc., the Healthcare Research and Development Institute, Morrison Management Specialists, and Citation Computers, Inc. He is also a member of President Clinton's Senior Advisors Group on Year 2000 Conversion.
