Black Women Receive Fewer SSRI Antidepressants, New Research 651 Andrew A. Nierenberg, M.D., Massachusetts General Hospital. Black women in this study were less likely to be prescribed SSRI antidepressants than Caucasian women. Further study is needed as to why. 10:00 a.m. Cancer Incidence Following the Death of an Adult Son, New Research 657 Robert Kohn, M.D., Butler Hospital, Providence, RI. A study of 6,284 Jewish Israelis who lost an adult son in the 1973 Yom Kippur War were studied by the National Cancer Institute for an incidence of cancer and stress.
