Newswise — Babson College has established the Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) with EM Lyon Business School (France) and Zhejiang University - School of Management (China). Babson will offer a new Master of Science in Management degree with a concentration in global entrepreneurship.

"This is truly a great milestone for Babson," said Interim Dean Allan Cohen. "As the world's leader in advancing entrepreneurial management education, it is in keeping with our entrepreneurial spirit that we would launch the world's first global masters program provided by three leading institutions."

Targeted toward recent business school undergraduates, this Master's degree program, taught in English, prepares students to be successful entrepreneurs in a global context. The year-long program is offered at the three partner schools. The inaugural class begins in September 2009, with the first semester delivered at EM Lyon next fall, the next semester at Zhejiang in the spring of 2010, and ending at Babson in the summer of 2010.
