Newswise — Sharon C. Ballard, President/CEO of EVI announced today that Baylor University has become a licensee for EVI’s Supercoach® Entrepreneurial Training curricula exclusive for Central Texas. Baylor University is ranked #4 in the Top 25 best undergraduate universities by Entrepreneur magazine in 2010.

Ballard also announced that Baylor’s Dr. Greg Leman has been certified to deliver programs based on Supercoach® Entrepreneurial Training. Dr. Leman is a Clinical Professor in the Hankamer School of Business, serving as Director, University Entrepreneurial Initiatives and holds the Curtis Hankamer Chair in Entrepreneurship. He has 25 years of experience as engineer and scientist and entrepreneurial leader in companies ranging from $1M to $2B in size. He has worked in the US, Europe and Asia at Fluorine Chemicals, Great Lakes Chemical, Cabot-Huels, Cabot Corporation and Dow Chemical Corporation. At Baylor, he has created new courses that center on breakthrough technology-enabled value creation, and the processes need to sustain innovation leadership in the globally connected world of the 21st century. Programs under his direction include a highly immersive technology entrepreneurship summer abroad experience in Shanghai that links cross-disciplinary student teams with innovative companies in China. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering at University of Illinois.
