WASHINGTON, July 7 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The following was released today by the Campaign for Tobaco Free Kids on the Engle Verdict:
"Today's jury decision in Miami represents the most serious court loss ever suffered by the tobacco industry," said Bill Novelli, CAMPAIGN FOR TOBACCO- FREE KIDS president. "While significant legal hurdles remain, the Florida jury has delivered a verdict that amounts to nothing less than a wholesale condemnation of tobacco industry behavior."
