WHAT: The Center for Global Health at NYU School of Medicine in collaboration with the International Health Medical Consortium has organized NYU's first International Health Day. The program features experts in global health from around the world. Focused on medical students with an interest in international urban health issues, the goal of the conference is to provide medical students and other health care professionals with the resources they need to pursue a career in International Health and Humanitarian Medicine.

WHO: Speakers include Andre-Jacques Neusy, MD, DTM&H, Director, Center for Global Health, NYU School of Medicine and President-elect, IHMEC; Ronald Waldman, Director of the Program on Forced Migration and Health, Columbia University; Patrick Aeberhardt, MD, MPH, Cofounder and Nicholas de Torrente, Executive Director, Doctors Without Borders; Richard Breenan, MD, MPH, Director Health Unit and Emmanuel d'Harcourt, MD, MPH, Director of the Child Survival Program, the International Rescue Committee among other internationally recognized experts.
