Newswise — More and more adults are making the decision to either go back and finish their college degrees or start from scratch. It can be tough for adult students to juggle responsibilities at home, work, and school, but many are succeeding.

At the University of Kentucky in Lexington, over 6,000 of the student body are over the age of 25. That number is on the rise, thanks to a unique pilot program, called Project Graduate, which helps adults in Kentucky go back to school to finish their degrees.

UK also offers assistance to help them in the major transition to college. The staff in UK's Office of Adult Student Services is happy to talk about this unique, ever-growing segment of students.
