Michael Teter is associate professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Professor Teter's research focuses on the intersection of constitutional structures and the legislative process, as well as on the role politics plays in the U.S. legal system. He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, was a teaching fellow in the Federal Legislation & Administrative Clinic at Georgetown Law, has worked as a union-side labor attorney in Los Angeles, on the presidential campaign of John Kerry in 2003, and as a litigation associate in private practice in Seattle, Washington.
