Newswise — LifeBridge Health is proud to announce Ronnie B. Footlick, a principal owner of Bond Distributing Company, and Ronald Attman, a vice president of Acme Paper & Supply Company Inc., as chairwoman and chairman of the 2012 Magic of Life Gala. This biennial event will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Maryland.

“We are indebted to Ronnie and Ron for their ongoing support of LifeBridge Health,” says Warren Green, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health. “We look forward to their leadership as co-chairs of this stellar event. They exemplify community leadership and generosity.”

Footlick has served as the chairwoman of the LifeBridge Health Board of Directors and as the chairwoman of the Sinai Hospital Board of Directors. Footlick also works with THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore and with Jewish Community Services.

“LifeBridge Health represents the grandest example of our collective responsibility to help and heal the world," says Footlick. “By working together, we will be able to help those who depend most on LifeBridge Health."

Ron Attman is also devoted to the community. He is currently vice chairman of the Northwest Hospital Board of Directors. Additionally, Attman volunteers his time to Jewish Community Services, the Restaurant Association of Maryland and Network Services. “LifeBridge Health is a vital asset to our community. It's a privilege to serve in this role and raise crucial funds for necessary programs and services."

The 2012 gala is the seventh Magic of Life event since the creation of LifeBridge Health in 1998. This event has consistently earned the distinction of being one of the largest one-day nonprofit fundraisers in Baltimore history, raising essential dollars for projects at Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital and Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

LifeBridge Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health services in the northwest Baltimore region.
