Newswise — The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans were released today by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health and Human Services.

They recommend balancing calories with physical activity and consuming healthier foods while limiting the intake of sodium, saturated and trans fats, sugars and refined grains.
