Newswise — December 22, 2015 – Red Bank, NJ – The Meridian Cancer Care team is proud to welcome James Bosscher, M.D., a gynecologic oncologist with expertise in robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Bosscher has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating gynecologic cancers and performing complex surgeries. In his role, Dr. Bosscher will be a vital part of the multi-disciplinary Cancer Care team at Meridian Health.

Dr. Bosscher received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. He completed a Galloway Fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York prior to completing the Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Washington, DC. Preceding his fellowship training, Dr. Bosscher was a resident and intern at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.

He is a member of many prestigious professional organizations, including the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecology Oncology Group, and Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Additionally, Dr. Bosscher received The Army Commendation Medal by the Department of the Army, the Bronze Star for Operation Desert Shield by the Storm Department of the Army, and Liberation of Kuwait Medal given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is an accomplished researcher and academic physician and has authored numerous publications, chapters, and abstracts in his field of expertise.
