At a World Congress of Neurology in Buenos Aires the week of September 14-19, neurology professors from Baltimore, Maryland, and Rome, Italy, will teach leading neurologists from around the world a new, non-invasive technique for study and diagnosis of brain diseases.

Called magnetic brain stimulation, the new technique is painless and highly informative about brain function.

Dr. Richard F. Mayer, professor of neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and director of the EMG (electromyogram) Laboratory there, is co-directing the course with Professor Paolo Rossini of Ospedale Fatebene Fratelli in Rome, Italy.
