Newswise — Oceans of Hope was created by the Sailing Sclerosis Foundation to change perceptions of multiple sclerosis by showing what is possible when people with a chronic disease are empowered to conquer their individual challenges. The 20-meter yacht, Oceans of Hope< is undertaking the first global circumnavigation by a crew of people with MS.

The project is inspiring those living with MS to recapture their identity and realize that they still have the potential to achieve great things.

The crew of Oceans of Hope had the courage to follow their dreams and arrived in Boston, USA on Monday, September 8, completing a 4,000-nautical mile voyage across the Atlantic Oceans from Lisbon, Portugal.

Congratulations "Oceans of Hope"!
