Newswise — GLENVIEW, Ill., May 15, 2013 – The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), www.nahq.org, announced today that Robert J. Rosati, Ph.D. has been appointed associate editor of the Journal for Healthcare Quality (JHQ), NAHQ’s peer-reviewed journal. Nine new editorial board members also were announced by NAHQ.

Rosati previously served on the JHQ editorial board, earned the JHQ Impact Article of the Year Award in 2009, and is vice president, clinical informatics at the Center for Home Care Policy and Research at Visiting Nurse Service of New York. The center conducts a variety of research projects designed to evaluate methods to improve the management of chronic illness in home and community settings. Rosati has served in his current position since 2000 and previously was director, quality management systems, Brooklyn Hospital Center.
