SCARY MOVIES LEAD TO "MAKE-OUT SESSIONS"

Young couples are more likely to end up in a "make-out session" if they see a scary movie than if they go to a Mozart concert.

That's according to Dr. Galdino F. Pranzarone, a psychology professor at Roanoke College in Salem, VA. Pranzarone's expertise is in sexual paraphilia, sex education issues, pheromones, lovemaps. He's also a certified sex educator by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

"Couples receive a rush of adrenaline from the horror flick and misinterpret it as sexual excitement toward each other," says Pranzarone.

Editors: Dr. Pranzarone might prove a useful source for stories on the "attraction of fear" relating to Halloween or when "Scream 2" or other slasher movies are released.
