Newswise — Washington, DC — Abstract submission is open for ACR 2017—The Crossroads of Radiology®, giving radiologists the opportunity to showcase their latest findings to improve patient care, business practices and clinical skills. For the first time, select high-quality abstracts will be integrated into educational sessions, and cash awards will be given to Gold Merit abstract winners.

The American College of Radiology annual meeting will be held May 21–25, 2017, in Washington, DC. Diagnostic and interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, medical physicists, residents and fellows may submit original abstracts in categories that include Advocacy; Economics and Health Policy; Clinical Education; Informatics and Innovations; Leadership; and Quality and Safety.

“At ACR 2017, members of the radiology community get the unique opportunity to showcase their latest findings, gain recognition from colleagues and top leaders in the field and receive valuable feedback to aid in future research,” said Shawn Teague, MD, FACR, chair of the ACR 2017 program committee.

ACR 2017—The Crossroads of Radiology will be held May 21–25, 2017; the Resident and Fellow Section will meet May 20–21. Online submission continues until 5 p.m. (Eastern) Dec. 16.
