Who: ASA and Hope For The Warriors® invite all to attend the Run For The Warriors® 5K Run/Walk, a race series dedicated to post-9/11 service members.
Why: • The Run For The Warriors® race series gives wounded service members encouragement and the opportunity to pursue running or walking to assist in their physical and emotional rehabilitation.
• All proceeds from the New Orleans race will benefit Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
• The race coincides with the ANESTHESIOLOGY™ 2014 annual meeting in New Orleans and marks the fifth consecutive year of ASA sponsorship of the event. ASA is honored to stand side by side with Hope For The Warriors® to help support the men and women who have served our country and sacrificed for our freedom.
• The event will end with an awards ceremony to honor local wounded heroes and families of the fallen and provide a time to remember those who have given of themselves in the line of duty.
