The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) invites you to attend a Consensus Conference on UVA Protection of Sunscreens, an issue that has been raised since the FDA's sunscreen final monograph was published last year. This conference is an effort by the AAD to bring together scientists from around the world, industry and federal regulators to discuss the various methods currently in place for determining whether or not a particular sunscreen formulation provides protection against dangerous UVA radiation.
