“The ‘In Motion: 5K Run-Walk-Fun’ is the first of its kind at our national meeting and it is sure to be a hit for the hundreds of participating attendees,” said IOH Chair Kelli Swanson Jaecks, MA, RDH. “'All of the proceeds raised will directly support IOH’s programs and initiatives, making this an exciting opportunity to give back to our foundation and advance the dental hygiene profession.”

The cost of the In Motion: 5K Run-Walk-Fun is $25 per registered attendee of CLL 2016. The $25 includes participation, T-shirt, and an admission ticket to the “After Glow Party,” which will be held on the Rooftop Deck of the David Lawrence Convention Center immediately following the Run/Walk. “This is our chance to set the tone for a new tradition and what will be a healthy and engaging event,” added ADHA CEO Ann Battrell. "We are very excited to be within $4,000 of our fundraising goal of $30,000. I have the utmost confidence in the passion and commitment of everyone involved in this important event that we will surpass our goal in the final weeks leading up to our annual meeting."
