Dr. Michael Catangui, associate professor/entomologist at South Dakota State University, can serve as a source on West Nile.

Dr. Catangui (prounounced Ka TANG ee) has a Diploma in Applied Parasitology and Entomology from the Institute for Medical Research (Malaysia). Thus, he is familiar with most arthropod-borne diseases of humans in the tropics. He has also done research (in 1984) on the transmission of human filariasis by Anopheles mosquitoes.
