Call for Entries on Allergy and Asthma: ACAAI 15th Annual Media Awards Program
The 15th Annual National Media Awards Program of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) recognizes achievements in communications contributing to a better understanding of allergic disease and asthma. The deadline is August 31, 2001.
Entries must have been published or broadcast between August 15, 2000, and August 15, 2001. Deadline for receipt of entries is August 31, 2001. There is no fee to enter.
A $1,000 award will be presented to the winning entrants in four categories:
* Newspaper* General Interest Magazine* Television* Radio
In addition, winners will receive an expense-paid trip (covering airfare and hotel) to Orlando for an awards ceremony during the ACAAI 2001 Annual Meeting, November 16-20.
Entries will be evaluated by a panel of professional journalists on the basis of quality of writing, excellence in production, amount of research, accuracy, impact of message and originality.
