Reliable Liquid Isolation Valve for High Precision Applications

Clinical diagnostic instrument manufacturers face intense pressure to develop new products based on advances in diagnostic detection technologies and reduce the total cost of ownership for their customers.

The addition of the Series 058 Miniature Isolation Valves supports liquid applications requiring a reduced footprint, with a flow that’s comparable to larger footprint valve products. The size (envelope) of this 14mm miniature valve product is approximately 1/3 that of traditional 16mm fluid handling miniature valves, and the weight is reduced by 50%.

With low power consumption, less heat is transferred to thermally sensitive reagents and samples, making this direct acting solenoid valve the perfect choice when using neutral or aggressive liquids in analytical instruments. In addition, the small form-factor saves space in OEM instruments and is well suited for portable and handheld field devices.

The direct-acting solenoid valve is ideal for clinical diagnostics, DNA sequencing, liquid chromatography and sample preparation applications and has a lifetime rating of 10 million cycles, making it ideal to withstand your instrument’s expected lifetime.
