Lynn Goldman, M.D., M.P.H.Dr. Goldman is Dean of the GW School of Public Health and Health Services. She is a pediatrician, epidemiologist, former assistant administrator at the Environmental Protection Agency, and an expert toxic substances. She can speak on an range of medical and public health topics, including children’s environmental health, environmental health, environmental health policy, public health preparedness, and emergency response measures.

Gary Simon, M.D., Ph.D., M.A.C.P.Dr. Simon is a nationally and internationally renowned expert in infectious diseases. He Professor of Medicine, Professor of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine, and Professor of Biochemistry and Biology at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also serves as Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the school.

Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D.Dr. Hotez is a scientist, pediatrician, and leading advocate and expert in the fields of global health, vaccinology, and neglected tropical disease control. He serves as Distinguished Research Professor and Chair of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also serves as President of the Sabin Vaccine Institute. Hotez leads an international team of scientists working to develop vaccines to combat hookworm infection, schistosomiasis, and other infection and other infectious and neglected diseases.

Jessica Leibler, Dr.P.H.Dr. Leibler is a Research Scientist in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the GW School of Public Health and Health Services. She is an epidemiologist with expertise in pathogen emergence from food systems, with particular interest in animal production. Her research is currently focused on emerging zoonotic diseases from industrial food animal production.
