Newswise — Chicago (May 26, 2016): Registration is now open for the all new BCOP Oncology Pharmacy Updates Course, taking place July 15-16, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Presented by the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) and led by an all-star group of faculty, the Oncology Pharmacy Updates Course is a live, interactive course that will cover new and ongoing therapeutic developments that have emerged within the last three years. Course programming is designed for the practicing advanced level pharmacist and offers up-to-date information, including recently published literature and ongoing studies that attendees can immediately apply to their practice.

Attendees can earn up to 10 credit hours toward Board Certified Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) and/or Accreditation Council for Pharmacy (ACPE) credit.

The Oncology Pharmacy Updates Course is part of the new HOPA BCOP Recertification Program, which provides 38 credits a year toward BCOP Recertification through a variety of delivery methods. This course is expected to be available as an online, recorded product by November 2016. The Oncology Pharmacy Updates Course ensures that all topics and domains are covered, as specified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties and the Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Council.
