Dr. Srikanth Beldona is an Associate Professor, with expertise in Hospitality Marketing, at the University of Delaware's Alfred Lerner College for Business & Economics.
His Ph.D. is from Purdue University, and his MBA is from the University of Newcastle in Australia. His research is largely in the areas of Perceived Hospitality, Travel Internet Marketing, Perceived Fairness and Perceived Value. His papers have appeared in the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management and International Journal of Hospitality Management among others.
He was the Guest Editor for the Journal of Hospitality and Leisure Marketing's 2008 special issue titled "The Impact of Technology on the Marketing of Hospitality and Travel Services." He serves on the editorial boards of the Jounal of Information Technology in Tourism, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management and the Journal of Conventions and Event Tourism.
He has over seven years of industry experience in the areas of lodging management, franchise development and technology training. Dr. Beldona has worked in India's luxury hotel sector with the Taj Group of Hotels and Oberoi Hotels. At the University of Delaware, he teaches Hospitality Marketing and Travel Internet Marketing courses at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels.
