Teams Showcase Hot Research at National Heart Meeting

Newswise — From a surprising discovery on women's heart health to an innovative procedure for atrial fibrillation, researchers from the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center will present many exciting new research findings on heart and vascular diseases and care at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions 2003 next week in Orlando.

Among the dozens of presentations, posters and seminars that U-M experts will give at the meeting, the following are among the most newsworthy.
