Newswise — The Who’s Who of Energy will generate some natural heat at the third annual Advanced Energy Conference on Long Island next month. Entitled “America’s Energy: New Thinking…New Initiatives…New York in November,” the conference is set for November 18 & 19 at the Hyatt Wind Watch hotel in Hauppauge, and will bring together leading researchers, government officials, policy makers and environmentalists along with leaders from the business, education and non-profit sectors, to what has rapidly become the premiere energy conference in the Northeast.
More than 185 speakers and presenters will represent all aspects and applications of advanced energy solutions – from basic research to modern application – and focus on a broad range of vital issues, including: Energy Policy; Energy Sector Finance Battery/Energy Storage/Load Management; Intelligent Transmission, Distribution & Smart Grid; Solar, BioFuels, Wind, Geothermal, Tidal, & Hydrogen Economy; Low Carbon Society, Climate Change & Sustainable Building; Intelligent Transportation; Energy Efficient Data Centers; and, Advanced Lighting Research. With more than 70 exhibitors and anticipated attendance of more than 1,000, the conference is expected exceed last year’s record-breaking gathering.
