Newswise — WASHINGTON (May 20, 2019) — The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, in partnership with the American Association of Kidney Patients is hosting the first ever Global Summit on Innovations in Patient-Centered Kidney Care.
The summit is a major kidney disease education collaboration featuring top international experts in kidney care. Over the course of two days, speakers will lead discussions on the latest options and approaches to the disease, as well as relevant issues, such as emerging research in the area of early disease diagnosis, novel therapies in transplantation, and advancements in dialysis care.
The event is open to kidney patients, caregivers, health care professionals, and medical students, offering the opportunity to engage with top experts on critical issues across the kidney disease spectrum. Media is invited to attend the event in-person or via livestream.
