A neuroscientist and an assistant professor at Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute and Virginia Tech–Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering, Tyler can answer questions about how physical stimulus affects neuronal activity.
In his work, he uses pulsed ultrasound to safely modulate neurons in the living brain and is developing techniques to treat brain disorders.
