Newswise — BETHESDA, MD, October 24, 2018 – The American College of Gastroenterology will donate $1,000 to charity for any tips that lead to the location and safe return of the stolen inflatable colon, an educational tool used to engage and inform the public about colon cancer and GI diseases. The inflatable colon was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck in Brookside, KS last week.
The $1,000 contribution will be divided between four nonprofit organizations:
- Colon Cancer Coalition
- Fight Colorectal Cancer
- Colorectal Cancer Alliance
- National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable
The Colon Cancer Coalition, the owner of this inflatable colon, is raising money to replace this $4,000 educational tool.
