A year to the day a magnitude 4.1 earthquake occured in Delaware, several UD experts are available to discuss the impact of the 7.0 earthquake that has struck Anchorage, Alaska.

Rachel Davidson, professor of civil and environmental engineering and a core faculty member with the Disaster Research Center, has been conducting research on natural disaster risk modeling and civil infrastructure systems for two decades.

James Kirby, professor of civil and environmental engineering, studies the way oceans move and can speak to the issue of tsunamis.

David Wunsch is the State Geologist and director of the Delaware Geological Survey.
