Matthew Sims, M.D. Ph.D., director of Infectious Disease Research at Beaumont Health, can discuss President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis. He has spoken to local and national media on dozens of topics throughout the pandemic, including two recent research projects in which he is the lead investigator. The first is the largest COVID serology study to launch as of April 13 and the second, SINK COVID is looking at how two common drugs – naltrexone and ketamine can be used to successfully treat the virus.
