Excessive Antibiotic Prescribing for Viral Respiratory Illnesses Could Explain Some Drug Resistance

The study, co-authored by Ralph Gonzales, MD, MSPH, assistant professor of medicine, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, could offer insight into the rapidly rising prevalence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
