How can I contribute a news release?
In order to contribute a release, you must purchase a membership package. We offer single-release packages, and multiple release packages, as well as discounts for non-profits. If you have already purchased a membership, you can contribute a release by logging in to our site and accessing our contribution form. Simply enter all necessary information and click “Submit.” Once our editors review the submission, we will release it at the date and time you specify.
How to change your user preferences
How to change your password, wire subscriptions, contact info, etc.
Log into the website with your username and password. Click the “My User Profile” link at the upper right corner of the screen.
You will see several tabs where you can change your user information, wire subscriptions, password, social media information, and privileges (if you are a client and have the ability to edit user settings.)
You can also temporarily suspend your newswire subscriptions.
I’m already member, how do I contribute a news release to Newswise?
Current Newswise members can contribute a release by logging in to our site and accessing the contribution form. Once a current member logs in, a link will appear in the left side-bar of the site that says “contribute an article.” Follow the link to that form and fill out all the fields with the article information and click “Submit.” Once our editors review the submission, we will release it at the date and time you specify. If you need assistance with an article submission, please contact us at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Is there a word limit?
There is no limit on the length of a release; however, we do ask you limit the headline length to 55 characters and description length to 3-5 lines.
Does Newswise distribute embargoed news?
Yes. Embargoed news is protected by our password access system. Only vetted journalists are given PressPass access to embargoed news.
If you are a reporter and would like to apply for a PressPass, please fill out our registration form. If you have already registered, please go to the presspass application.
Can I include multimedia in my release?
Newswise allows its Enhanced members to embed images in their releases. Premier members can embed video and audio as well. If you are interested in embedding multimedia and would like to know the costs for your institution, please contact (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

I can’t log in, but my username and password are correct
If your username and password are correct, but you are still unable to log in, please delete your browser cookies and cache.
To delete your cookies in Internet Explorer, from the menu:
Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Temporary Internet Files: Delete Cookies, Delete Files.
To delete your cookies in FireFox, from the menu:
Tools > Clear Recent History > check Cookies and Cache.
To delete your cookies in Safari, from the menu:
Safari > Reset Safari > check Remove all cookies and Empty the cache.
