Newswise — Babson College - the top-ranked school for Entrepreneurship - has introduced a new field of concentration in the Undergraduate curriculum. The "Technology Entrepreneurship and Design" concentration offers students the unique opportunity to specialize in one of three emerging technology areas -- Technology Entrepreneurship, Product Design, and Environmental Sustainability.

Additionally, Babson students will work closely with students from the Rhode Island School of Design and may choose to enroll in at least two courses at neighboring Olin College of Engineering. Olin is the first independent engineering college of the new millennium.

The Technology Entrepreneurship and Design Concentration is multi-disciplinary, fully integrated, and is one of several concentrations at Babson that give students an optional way to organize their advanced studies. Up to two concentrations can appear on a transcript.

Faculty contacts for the new concentration are: Candida G. Brush, division chair, Entrepreneurship; and Sebastian Fixson, assistant professor, Technology and Operations Management.

Concentrations have been developed by Babson's academic divisions and college centers. For a complete list of concentration offerings, visit: www.babson.edu/concentrations.
