GREENFIELD TO SPEAK AT BUCKNELL COMMENCEMENT MAY 20

Lewisburg, Pa. -- Jeff Greenfield, a senior analyst for CNN's "Inside Politics," will speak May 20 at Bucknell University's commencement ceremony.

Greenfield reported live for CNN from the 2000 Republican and Democratic national conventions and served as a panelist in the WCBS New York Senate debate between then-candidate (now U.S. Sen.) Hillary Rodham Clinton and U.S. Rep. Rick Lazio. Greenfield was also host of CNN's seven-part series, "Democracy in America."

Since joining CNN in January 1998, Greenfield has reported on and provided analysis for news coverage and a wealth of stories, ranging from Election 2000 coverage to the impeachment and trial of President Bill Clinton to the public reaction to the death of John F. Kennedy Jr.

CNN's "Inside Politics" airs weekdays 5-6 p.m. (ET).

In addition to his work on television, Greenfield writes a column for TIME magazine. He has written or co-written nine books, including "Television: The First 50 Years," and "The Real Campaign." His novel, "The People's Choice," was published in 1995. Director Penny Marshall has purchased the motion picture rights to the book.

Bucknell is in Lewisburg, Pa. Its commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 20.
