Hendrix president leads national Methodist college association

Dr. Ann H. Die, president of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, has been elected president of the National Association of Schools and Colleges of the United Methodist Church.

President Die, who succeeds Thomas Courtice, president of Ohio Wesleyan College in Delaware, Ohio, was president-elect of the association in 1996-97.

She will serve as president as the United Methodist Church celebrates the 250th anniversary of Methodist involvement in education. Dr. Die plans to attend a celebration of the milestone planned in Great Britian in the summer of 1998.

Dr. Die recently completed a term as chair of the board of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) and now represents NAICU on the board of the American Council of Education.
