JORDANIAN PRINCESS AND ISLAMIC SPECIALIST TEACHES AT WOMEN'S COLLEGE

It's not every day that a member of a royal family can be found teaching at an American college. But for the first half of February, students at Agnes Scott College will be taught by a Jordanian princess.

From February 2-13, the liberal arts institution for women in Decatur, Georgia, is hosting Her Royal Highness Princess Wijdan Ali, PhD., who will teach classes on "The Role of Women in Islam," "Islamic Civilization," "Religion and Politics," "Jordan," and hold two public lectures: "Issues in Islam Today: Religion, Politics & Culture" and "What is Islamic Art?"

Princess Wijdan Ali is the cousin of Jordan's King Hussein.
