Newswise — The application Tweet is going global.

The University of Iowa's Tippie MBA full-time program will award one full financial award package to the applicant from outside the United States who most creatively answers the question, "What makes you an exceptional Tippie full-time MBA candidate and future MBA hire?" Of course, the question must be answered in 140 characters or less.

The aid package, totaling just over $36,000, will be presented to a student entering the program in the Fall 2012 semester. The application deadline is April 1, 2012.

Students are encouraged to connect their Tweet to blog entries, videos, full resumes or expanded talking points elsewhere on the Web to impress the judges.

To be considered for the financial aid award, students must be admitted to the program. Admission is based on the usual mix of factors, including GMAT scores, work experience, and the traditional, full-length application essay.
