Newswise — CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia — Bloomberg Businessweek released its 2013 ranking of Executive MBA programs. The University of Virginia Darden School of Business MBA for Executives (EMBA), which launched seven years ago and is eligible for the ranking for the first time, debuted at No. 13 in the world and No. 11 in the United States. The Darden EMBA prepares executives for high-performance leadership as they continue to work full time, providing an immediate and lasting return on investment for participants and the companies for which they work, including their own ventures. The 21-month program develops in executives an enterprise perspective, helping them understand how all areas of an organization interrelate.

The Darden MBA for Executives curriculum and academic schedule are designed for experienced managers. Darden delivers its MBA program in three formats — the full-time MBA, MBA for Executives and Global MBA for Executives. Graduates of all three formats receive an MBA from the University of Virginia.
