Newswise — Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, the 2012 NYU Entrepreneurs Festival is a two-day celebration of startups and entrepreneurship for the NYU community. Over the course of this 2-day celebration, NYU alumni, faculty and student entrepreneurs representing most every school at NYU, will come together to share their startup stories through a series of keynotes, panels, roundtables, workshops, a venture showcase and a big party.
Featured NYU entrepreneur speakers this year include Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and Square; Herb Kelleher, founder of Southwest Airlines; Rachel Sterne Haot, founder of GroundReport and Chief Digital Officer of NYC; and Alexandre Douzet, co-founder of TheLadders and over 30 other NYU entrepreneurs.

The NYU Entrepreneurs Festival is a watershed event to promote and support entrepreneurship across the University. The Festival is a rare opportunity to publicly showcase and celebrate successful NYU entrepreneurs and provide a platform to share their stories of success (along with the challenges overcome along the way) with the rest of the NYU community. All of the speakers will be NYU student, faculty or alumni entrepreneurs. The day and a half event will feature a mixture of Founder Talks, Entrepreneurs Panels, Startup Roundtables, a NYU Venture Showcase and a celebratory party (Friday evening). Your admission provides unlimited access to all talks, panels and roundtables, afternoon refreshments both days, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as admission to the party on Friday night!
