Newswise — The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) will give the 2010 ICU Design Citation to the medical ICU at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, at this year’s National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition, Washington, D.C., May 15-20.
The coveted award — co-sponsored by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, Mount Prospect, Ill., and the American Institute of Architects, San Francisco — recognizes intensive care units that successfully combine functional design with humanitarian care delivery.
