WHAT:Reflection in Action: Building Healthy Communitiesâ„¢This day dedicated to the Civil Rights Movement includes a keynote address by NAACP Chairman Julian Bond, HMS faculty presentations about their extensive experiences in the Movement, a panel discussion about current civil rights, social justice, and health disparities issues, performances by young people from the community, and an award presentation to Boston public school children sponsored by the HMS Office for Diversity and Community Partnership. The awards will recognize creative works about the history of the Civil Rights Movement.
